Daniel B. Pickett married Eleanor F. Pickett on 12/01/1961. He has two kids: Carol and Dan. His first child was born on 06/04/1964 and his second child was born on 07/11/1966. Danny has two grandchildren named Anna and Bowen. He has lived in both Atlanta and Eastman and has attended many schools. These schools include: General Motors Institute, in Flint, Michigan, Middle Georgia College, in Cochran, and also Georgia State University, in Atlanta. He is a retired CPA. The building of a successful public accounting practice and serving as the organist for the First Baptist Church for over 25 years are two achievements that he is the most proud. Danny's “Last Will and Testament” in 1955 was “I, Danny Pickett, so leave my title as “Mr. Senior” to the luckiest boy in the Junior Class.” His class prophecy was “Billy Steel and Danny Pickett, a famous comedy team have taken up where Bud Abbott and Lou Costello left off.” His comment to this prophecy was "We are still cutting the fool. Some additional achievments that Danny is the most proud of are being admitted to the Beta Gamma Sigma, which is the highest honor accorded to a student of business administration, he was admitted into Beta Alpha Psi, which is an honorary accounting fraternity, and he also graduated in the top five percent of his class!
