Gene Mac Winburn
Birthday - 2-1-1937
Date of death - 3-20-2006
Attended Eastman schools from 1st-11th grade and graduated early.
As of January 6, 2006, Whitney, Warren, Sydney (5) and Harrison (4) and Paige, Tally, Grayson (2) and Elizabeth (12 weeks) and Precious Baby Winki are fine. They have an additional full time job looking after "yours truly" and his new walking stick.
Since I'm playing the back nine I traded golf sticks for walking sticks. I don't
carry law books, there are no confrontations, demanding schedules are matters of the past but I still look for and chase a good case. Law practice continues in capable hands of Lamar, Judge Stolz, Jimmy Hurt and Jack Frierson. Our malpractice carrier pays me to keep a respectful distance from our office.
Recently, Winki and I spent a week at Canyon Ranch in Arizona learning to breathe, exercise and relax . Damn hard work but a wonderful and rewarding experience. lt did not impress my doctors "so, what else is new!!!" Life's little spills are becoming more difficult. We miss our friends, I miss my scotch and fine wines, and I miss learning the practice of law from students, lawyers, professors and all my NITA friends. What an experience???
